Tip: for Urdu or Hindi, pick the language and "Better accuracy". Transcripts are made on our own server by an open-source speech model. Nothing is sent to any outside AI service.
Works with public videos from Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X (Twitter), Reddit, Vimeo, Dailymotion, Pinterest, Threads, Twitch clips, Snapchat, Streamable, Bluesky and LinkedIn. Private or login-only videos, YouTube and paid or copy-protected videos are not supported. Videos can be up to 20 minutes and 200 MB. Good to know: many platforms, Instagram in particular, refuse requests that come from servers, so a public video can still fail with a "needs a login" message. If that happens, there is nothing wrong with your link.
Please use this responsibly. Only download videos you made or have permission to use. Platforms' terms often forbid downloading, and creators own their work.
Your privacy. We do not keep videos or transcripts: a video is deleted as soon as you have saved it, and everything, including transcripts, is deleted within 20 minutes at the latest. We keep a short log (a scrambled form of your address, the site name and whether it worked) to prevent abuse. Nothing you download or transcribe is ever read or stored by us.
About transcripts. They are made by software, so they can contain mistakes, especially with background music, noise, several speakers or strong accents. Please check anything important.
Fair use limits. A few downloads every ten minutes per person, a few transcripts, and a daily limit for everyone, so the tool stays free and available.
