Universal TV remote for iPhone — Google TV, Android TV, Samsung, LG and Roku
Contact us
Email support@mavtech.ltd. Tell us your TV's make and model and what happened; we usually answer within two working days.
In the app, Report a problem (in the remote's ⋯ menu) sends us the details we need, including your TV's model, without any personal information.
Common questions
Signl can't find my TV.
Your iPhone and the TV must be on the same Wi‑Fi network, and Signl needs Local Network access: Settings › Privacy & Security › Local Network › Signl. You can also add a TV by its IP address, shown on the TV under its network settings.
How do I pair?
Google TV and Android TV show a six‑character code to type into Signl. Samsung and LG ask "Allow?" on the TV — press it with the TV's own remote. Roku needs no pairing, but newer Roku software needs Settings › System › Advanced system settings › Control by mobile apps set to Enabled.
Signl can't switch my TV on.
A TV can only be switched on over the network if it keeps its network awake in standby. Open the TV in Signl and run Wake setup: it shows the setting for your TV (for example Network standby on TCL, Wake on Cast on Hisense, Remote start on Sony, Power On with Mobile on Samsung, Turn on via Wi‑Fi on LG, Fast TV start on Roku) and tests it.
Typing or voice search doesn't reach the TV.
Select the search box on the TV first. If the Google TV app is also connected to the same TV with its keyboard on, close it: only one app can type into a TV at a time.
How do I cancel Signl Pro?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: on your iPhone open Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Signl, or follow Apple's guide at support.apple.com/118428. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period.
I bought Pro but it isn't unlocked.
Open the Signl Pro screen and tap Restore (top right), signed in with the same Apple Account you bought with. For refunds, use reportaproblem.apple.com.
